Functions

The Odisha Secretariat Service Section deals with service matters related to its OSS Cadre personnel constituting seven grades Viz. Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary are in Group-A Services and Desk Officer, Section Officer, Assistant Section Officer are in Group-B services.
The OSS Section also deals with service matters of the Legal cadre personnel under OSLS( Odisha State Legal Service )Cadre presently continuing with 91 posts of Assistant Director ( Legal ) cadre
